How Do You Get Your Act Together When People Are Pulling You Down
When we are working toward achieving the success that we have always wanted, how crucial is it that we separate ourselves from ‘dramatic‘ people and control our sludge?
Building a house above a foundation of uncontrolled emotions can be incredibly frustrating since the smallest triggers can always shake this foundation in our lives. In this episode, I share my thoughts about how to help you stand your ground. Join me today as we learn how to better take care of ourselves so that we can provide better assistance to others.
“If you have all this energy flowing through you and you don’t know how to ground that shit, let it go… you’re screwed; you’re not going to be able to build a life because it’ll be built on a house of emotional cards that any emotional thing can come along and just buckle the pillar and it all falls down again.”

Why do you have to listen to today's episode.
00:11 – “I get angry when I think about all the success books, success literature, all the gurus, all these people on social media. It’s like the six steps to success without mentioning the 1200pound elephant in the living room…”
Today, I want to share with you what helps me whenever I get a lot of drama going on while trying to become successful in both life and business.
02:17 – “If you have all this energy flowing through you and you don’t know how to ground that shit, let it go… you’re screwed...If you can objectify your demons, then they can’t run you up.”
Let me discuss the masculine-feminine consciousness along with the reason why we shouldn’t let our emotions overpower us
05:15 – “If you want to have more things in your life, you got to take on more responsibility; and swallowing the hard, bitter pill of responsibility, you’re going to deal with all the shit that comes along with the things that you say that you want.”
Being able to change channels cleanly will completely change your life for the better. Learn to stay calm in the face of chaos.
09:52 – “The deeper question is how that man developed his consciousness to the point where he can withstand that amount of pull the trigger on, make the decisions to make these things happen…”
It takes a lot of work, especially from one’s interior, to become successful. Remember, awareness is the key. As Tony Robbins said, “The highest evolution is contribution.”
12:49 – “When you get clarity around your life’s purpose, it gets a little bit easier to cut all the fat, sort out all the bullshit.”
The clearer you get and the more you can stand your ground, the more people will start to respect you, the more you’ll respect yourself, and your bank account will go up too.
14:03 – “This is real shit; this is dead fucking serious. We need to get our shit together.”
This is what fired me up to make this video. You can’t take care of other people ‘til you can take care of yourself. Get your shit together and get serious about taking care of yourself. But if you’re not in the position, avoid drama and dramatic people.
Key Takeaways
“If you want to have more things in your life, you got to take on more responsibility; and swallowing the hard, bitter pill of responsibility, you’re going to deal with all the shit that comes along with the things that you say that you want.”
“But if we look at the qualities and aspirations of things in life from a level of something we admire, we strive to be like. Those things don't happen by osmosis. I think there's a lot of interior work that has to get done, that it happens behind the scenes, and a lot of intention, pain, suffering, motivations, breakdowns, discouragement and fears go into play to carve that thing into a beautiful masterpiece, to turn coal into a diamond by pressure. You will become polished under the pressures that are in your life right now.”
“And I think that just like you got to put the oxygen mask on yourself first in the plane, you can't take care of other people till you can take care of yourself. So it's high, high time that we really get our shit together and get damn serious about taking care of ourselves…”
